Aunt Marilú’s Chicken Cacciatore
(serves 8-10)
Ingredients:
4 Chicken drumsticks
1 medium onion, small chop
5 Medium carrots, medium chop
7 Celery Stalks, medium chop
2 Beef bullion packs/ cubes
1 Tbs. vegetable oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Heat the oil in a large deep pot on medium-high heat. Brown the chicken for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and cover.
- In the oil sauté the onion until translucent
- Add the carrots and celery and sauté for about 8 minutes
- Add the chicken
- Add water until the chicken is covered, add bullion, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for about 1 hour, until chicken is tender and sauce is creamy.

Pollo a la Cacciatora
4 pechugas de pollo
4 patas de pollo
1 cebolla mediana, picada
5 zanahorias medianas picadas en rebanadas pequeños
7 patas de apio picadas pequeñas
2 sobres de caldo de carne
- Freír el pollo y las verduras
- Añadir agua hasta tapar el pollo
- cocinar hasta que este la salsa cremosa
